Moderate fading some soiling and a few small areas of staining to the covers. Heavy scuffing and fraying along the extremities very heavy to the spine tips.
Rear interior hinge also reinforced with white tape. Text block toned. Bindings a bit rubbed at extremities but quite nice with the spine of volume 1 being more worn and soiled than the rest. Top edges gilt. Light scattered foxing. Several leaves in each volume dog-eared. Overall a nice set for the collector. Hard Cover. BA2 - Book has edgewear chipping rubbing tears stains bumped corners writing loose hinge a few missing pages significant discoloration and shelf wear. Caxton Edition.
